headed down tomorrow. I have tried giggy head several times this year and only caught a few fish, but they do tend to be of better quality than you get on the wacky. I'll probably try it. I always keep a fire tiger pop-r on, but the toptwater bite has been slow this year for me. What color do you use.

I'll post when I get back on Tuesday.

The key to the giggy head is in the size. If there is no wind and the water is flat, throw the lightest that you've got. I throw a 1/16th or 3/32nd. With light wind and chop, I switch to the 1/8th size. And for really deep water 15'+, try the 1/4oz. I tip my giggy heads with zoom finesse worms. Green pumpkin seems to work the best, with both watermelon/red and junebug producing well too.

For the clear water, I like baby bass with red hair or red hooks for the Pop-R.

Have you ever fished a mojo rig? If not, you should give it a try anywhere you have rocky bottoms and on all points. It's a downsized carolina rig fished on 10' line on a spinning rod. For that, I use zoom fat albert grubs in the same colors as the finesse worms. Good luck.

Bob
