Cumberland From: Steve (76.177.67.106), Kentucky
Well, Not sure about the day bite. I would guess the early morning would be good for topwater action. If I was going to go during the day I would find the biggest creek I could and go back in it. It's going to be really tough there during the day with all that clear water.Hope you know how to fish deep.

Good luck. Steve

I think people are stingy with cumberland reports because it can be a really hard to locate fish, Once they finally locate them they do not want to share. I have been night fishing 2 times recently and have only had one keeper. It seems like the lakes that are known to be better fisheries, have more reports because there are more fish and more ways to catch them. Just my opinion. It would be nice to see more reports but i do not see it happening.
Lake Cumberland From: Tj (147.239.118.158), North carolina
I don't think Cumberland is hard to fish at all. Always catch fish there every time I get to go. Might be slow at time, but still one hell of a fishery. I am military and stationed in NC and the fishing blows in NC. Heard all about the dynamic fishing, but have yet to see any. Fishes most of the major lakes numerous times without very impressive luck. KY and TN lakes ROCK!! Always catch fish and fish do what they are supposed to when on a seasonal pattern. Yes, some guys are stingy about their holes and sometimes downright defensive. But keep tryin a proven pattern and be prepared to be "hooked" up.
