Bass Stocking From: Fish4Life (70.193.145.0), Oregon
Careful!!! There may be a legit reason why ODFW doesn't want to stock those lakes at this point in time. Siltcoos has a toxic algae bloom right now as well as some decade long problems with declining fish population. Bass Tournaments purposely stopped hammering Siltcoos as well as this years example with Crane Prarie.

This year I caught a 3.3 lb'er and my dad caught a 7 lb'er at Siltcoos but those were the only 2 fish we got. I understand the frustration at Tak as well. (We blanked there in the ABA tournament this year) The top weights of the ABA tournament at Tak this year was pretty impressive so if you learn where they are you can do pretty well!

I know it seems easy to say hey lets dump a bunch of fish in there so they can grow and make it a better fishery. The truth is that first someone needs to find out what really happened to the lakes and what we can do to prevent the toxic algae and other problems that might suffocate fish or kill off their food source.
