Ramps From: BamaFish120 (74.185.75.168), Alabama
I went yesterday and launched at Lakeside. The one closest to the bathrooms is what I used. There was a tournament weighing in when I got there and they all said that was the ramp they used. I didn't have a problem getting in or out by myself. Just be real careful b/c it's about 3 1/2 ft in some areas when you idle out to the main channel. (Waters as low as I've ever seen it, but still caught lots of fish, mostly unders. Just find the shad and you'll find the fish.) Logan Launching From: Githnet (216.180.82.33), Alabama I went last Friday out of Clear Creek. It's tricky, but I got in. Be careful because it drops off very quick. I pushed mine off the trailer and winched it back on just to be on the safe side, very shallow at the ramp, and pier. ramps From: mike (68.16.218.79), Alabama I put in at Town and Country Sunday afternoon. The canal is real shallow but had no problems what so ever idling out with my tr-20 and merc 225 ramps From: T-rig, Alabama Hey watch the ramp at clear creek. Right out from the ramp is a ring of rock from the loading of boats. You can see it so it shouldn't be much trouble. Just don't trim the motor all the way down and you will be fine. |
