Nice! Love the topwater bite when it turns on this time of year. Speaking of warm water I've never seen temps this high for the third week in October. You should keep fishing it can only get better from here until Ice forms at least. The roads leaving N. Windham are marked p/w (private way), is the lake actually open to the public? Thanks JM little segabo From: Keith (76.179.97.171), Maine Hey Joe, I'm almost positive it's called anglers road. This road isn't private even if there are signs that say so. It is a state ramp, and is about a 2 mile drive once you turn off rt.302(there is a restaurant where you need to turn onto anglers rd. that used to be called Red Sands). There was a tournament there on sunday, and from most of the people I talked to it was tough fishing. If I was you and in that area I'd try out thomas or put a car top in at north gorham pond. North Gorham has some of the biggest smallmouth I've seen, and this is the time of year to catch them. Good luck! I'll just scout around the smaller ponds and do a little shore fishing. There is one near Gray and a couple near Casco that I want to look at. Again thanks a lot.
