Smallie rivers From: 2quick #10767, New jersey
The Pompton and Passaic rivers are the best smallie rivers in north jersey... Unless you go to the Delaware River- which will blow you away- up near Route 80 and where Route 23 goes into Port Jervis. Really though, if you're bent on catching smallies and are shore bound, try Oakridge Reservoir by the dam at sunrise and Lake Marcia way up 23 in High Point State Park. Both of those are fantastic. |
