Shallow, not deep From: 31Airborne, Virginia
Funny, but I was on Gaston a couple weeks ago; Anna this past weekend. I caught almost all of my fish in 5' or less. Yeah, there are fish holding deep but I'm seeing lots of signs that fish are holding shallower (5-10'), in traditionl prespawn staging/transition areas. The amount of flow coming into SML may be keeping the fish deeper - weather reports I've seen said southern VA got a lot of rain in past couple weeks. Can you confirm?? Tight lines, B |
