I believe you are talking about North Bend Lake, which is in North Bend State Park. It's east of Parkersburg. I have a friend who camps there and said the bass fishing is great, although the lake was dammed a few years ago so the bass aren't real big yet. I think there's a 10 hp limit and the lake is around 300 acres. The WVDNR website should have the lake listed in its list of public waters, so you can see the size and any regulations. Woodrum was accidentally drained a few years ago but has been restocked. That was the best lake WV had.
