Fishing Waters From: Backwater Bob #12045, West virginia If you are moving to the eastern panhandle, Sleepy Creek Lake is a great bass lake but small at 200 acres. Jennings Randolph Lake and Mount Storm Lake are bigger lakes in the area with some decent bass fishing. Also, if you leave the boat behind there are some great smallmouth streams with the South Branch, Cacapon, Shenandoah, and Potomac all pretty close by. If you are moving to the northern panhandle, Cheat lake is a good one. Deep Creek lake in MD is in between both panhandles, and it's supposed to be awesome bass fishing, but I saw it has a ludicrous $10 ramp fee. |
