I wonder if it was just a lack of awareness rather than being intentionally rude. So many people on the water don't really seem to have an awareness of others. I was working a weedline on Raystown last year when 2 women came paddling through right in front of me in kayaks. pretty much scared anything right out of that bed ~ Same thing happened on Marburg when a group came around the bend and did the exact same thing. It's not like I am assuming I own the lake or something, but a little bit of common sense would suggest you go behind, not in front of, the fisherman.
