. sounds like you had a good one ,, i was out from 330 till dark and just pounded there azzzez as well .. its funny how different people catch them in different places ... i have been killin themm on my fishead, and i mean some very nice fish , on hard clay banks . points anything red clay has been a big producer , the spotsticker up on anybank in 2 feet of water ,is gonna get bit .. some are dinks , some are pigs , and they all bite the same ,EXCEPT the ones on the fishead , they will about jerk the rod ,rite out of your hands ,so hold on to it for sure .. have not tryed alot of docks , this week , but iknow there on them too. the fluke bite is pretty strong as well for me .. white on weighless rig with a 12 pd flora leader .about 12 in long , will get a good fish too ..goodluck and ill be out there all weekend .... Any pigs? From: Fastfish #10166, Georgia I'll give the fishhead a try next time out. Sounds like they are biting on a good variety of lures. I saw a two pound spot trying to run down a herring...and wouldn't give up. I mean that herring was running like a scalded dog. Probably explains part of why they are hammering your fishhead. Hopefully the bite will still be on when I get out again on Monday night...if I get out. I know there is weather coming in. Good luck...<>< FF |
