good opportunity From: Fishn.Jim #10300, Pennsylvania
for someone to come up with an internal or accesible external way to close the drain hole. They do it for the live wells! There was some kind of float deal a few years back but it didn't catch on. They used to make a drain kit for your auto motor oil, I don't think it would be a biggie to adapt something like that. Unless the bass fishermen demand it the boat companies won't put them on. That's on the cost line not the profit line. Especially with these overhung high performance hulls, I can barely bend down with my arthritic knees enough to put the plug in on dry ground...and I'm not getting any younger or flexible. I guess I'll have to work on that one. |
