Mitchell From: rlfbhm #11007, Alabama
I went to Mitchell Saturday with a friend of mine. This was the fourth weekend in a row I have been to Mitchell and it was by far the slowest this spring. I caught one largemouth on a frog very early and seven spots throughout the day but my buddy zeroed. All the spots I caught were big but the bites were few and far between. All the spots were big with the biggest at 3-5. Are the spots spawning right now? Some of the spots I caught last week were feeding heavily on shad and spitting them up when they got in the boat. Some of them Sunday looked big in the belly but weren't spitting shad. |
