ILL Bayou will always get a lot of pressure. Yeah, it all looks good but it also gets picked over pretty thoroughly.

Recommend running up lake a bit next time - go into Shoal Bay. Good variety of water (deep channels, rocks, timber, skinny water w/ pads and grass, etc). I found that I could do just about any kind of fishing I wanted right in there w/o having to make long runs.

Airborne is right, Shoal Bay offers just about any kind of fishing you might want to try, there are a lot of good fish that come out of Piney Bay as well, my personal preference is still Shoal Bay however, because of the versatility that it has to offer.
