Hey Dave, haven't seen many reports from you. Was worried all the fish left Maine. I'm headed up next week to fish Penobscot and South Branch Lake. Any word on how they are doing ? Was wondering if they were off the beds yet. This wacky Spring weather really mixed things up. fishing... From: DaveBass1, Maine I haven't fished the river in a while. The fishing has been way under par the last few times I did fish it. As far as South Branch, the smallies should be done spawning up there by now or just getting done.
