Lake Norman Reports From: RJTNC #12702, North carolina
I enjoy reading your fishing reports, even though I have never fished LK Norman (I live over near Raleigh). I 'll get to LKN one day. You put a lot of great info in your posts and seem to really want to help people catch fish. Keep up the good work and have fun out there! Great reports! I don't get to get out much, but got out on Lake Norman yesterday for a few prcious hours from about 6-9PM. Fished around the big intake and kept my eye on them hawks! Threw everything I had at 'em because I could see on my finder that they were all over the bottom. Threw every color I had Texas rig - nothing. Threw a few crankbaits - nothing. Threw a jig and a Baby bass - nothing. Finally, started throwing one of those Coffee Tubes by Strike King and POW! That was the magic. I started getting hits on every cast and pulled a few 2 pounders in the boat. Great couple of hours on the lake. Thank you Lord!
