Very encouraging report!! I start my 2 week vacation on Monday and the only thing that I'm doing is fishing Lanier. Hope I have half the luck as you did last week. Thanks. Right On... From: pbcraigg, Georgia Jimmy- I agree. They are biting well right now and the pattern is staying consistent. I am having my best luck on humps in 15-20 ft of water by throwing a chug bug first, then fishhead spin and then closing with a 1/2 oz brown or root beer green football jig. I throw each at least 3-4 times...not bites...go to the next hump. Craig the good bite From: JimmyCatch 5, Georgia hey craig ,hadnt seen ya here in a while , i took my uncle Cliff yesterday ,for a evening trip ,it was not as good as it has been,but we caught 12or so , .its hard for me to concentrate ,when somebody that dont have a clue ,wants to try to be a wakeboarder.and all they do is fall .and then circle back around.fall same thing over and over , in one of my best places .so i got virtigo quick ..lol but im lookin for a new gps sonar unit ,, i m lookin at the lowrance,and i dont know why ,,cauz my other one took a dive . i want the lms 522 with ext ant , got any sugggestions .. ?? thanks jimmy Lowrance From: pbcraigg, Georgia Jimmy---My opinion, I do not think you will go wrong with the Lowrance 521. I have a Lowrance X28 and it does the trick. The X28 has a 7" screen and the 521 has a 5". I would go with the 521 if you are looking to put something up front. See you out there....I have been fishing between Thompson Bridge and Browns Bridge....holler at me if you see a white/blue Ranger. I am out there 3 or 4 afternoons a week.
