Hey Mike sorry to here you're still frozen out! Should thaw soon though shouldn't it? What part of Iowa you in? I have some kin in Goldfield--about 100 mi. north of Des Moines. Used to fish the Boone River as a kid. Caught some nice cats in the log jams. Caught some nice pike too. Some ice in Central Iowa is still 4-6 inches thick in some parts. Hopefully with rain and the wind it will soon break apart. I've been fishing in NE. sense the first of Feb. Two of these sandpits did not have aerators and catching Bass starting Feb 28th. |
