I will agree in part. I was also getting some decent top water action on Saturday but by Monday, nothing came up. It appears to be the spot this time of year as I got 15 decent fish up to 3 lbs on Saturday and only 3 all day Monday. While fishing as RichZ said is so-so now, we are also releasing the fish and using artificials. Were you keeping that many fish, and if you weren't, why would you subject all of them to the live well if you were fishing recreationally?
