Bruce milford From: rex (12.13.248.12), Kansas that was a good report Jason, saw you won that tournament 2 weeks later ,but not with a spinner bait in shallow water how many guys beleived what you said and fished that patern while you fished for the small mouth, think I will try that at the next federation tournament see if it works for me ha ha milford From: jason baird (208.191.33.48), Kansas rex, it is february the 1st. just was looking over the web page and clicked on my entry from last may. the largemouth were in the backs of coves several day prior to the tournament but the kansas wildlife and parks shocked every respectable spot. i started out fishing for largemouth and at 10:45 with 1 dinky largemouth in the well i went smallmouth fishing. found on good spot were 7 keepers were caught. it also didnt help that the water was rising a foot a day. anyway go ahead and fish smallmouth, but in the spring i would stick to largemouth. jason Smallmouth from spillway From: Shonta Williams (68.114.205.135), North carolina I recently caught a 19" smallmouth bass, that I still hasve frozen in my fridge, at the spillway. I was wondering if there were any standing records for 8lb test line for this fish. If so I'd like to recieve an e-mail from someone telling me where I can find this information. Thank You |
