jason i assume you are boatless by the places you are fishing. if so have you tried swanfalls? its a great smallmouth fisherie. but you have to wade out to the edge of the channel to get right on the dropoff. be damm careful two people drownd their this year. use a rebel deep craw and really crank it to get deep and bounce it off the rocks. you will need a few they get hungup alot but we have caught 50+ fish in a few hours on these hot summer days.good luck and tight lines Try North ID. Not to say we don't have bass, cats, trout, and ect. Just saying fishing is differnt up here. Hope thuogh you have good luck in your fishing times. boatless fishing in idaho From: cody (156.153.255.236), Idaho Hey there, I was out at duff lane just yesterday and we caught about 10 8-10 inch bass and a few bluegill. I also used to fish the caldwell ponds. I was told that swan falls was great to fish this time of year. I plan to go out that way pretty soon. I guess they are pulling a few good looking bass out of vetrans memorial park pond and park center pond. I didnt think there was any good sizers there but i guess its worth a try.
