Wilson's Reservoir From: Kez (64.12.106.43), Rhode island
Don, Would you mind giving me directions to Wilson's reservoir? I've been living in Rhode Island for a couple of years but don't know of many decent places with shore access. I live in East Providence and usually fish the Turner Reservoir on the E.P. Seekonk line, only cause its close to home and I dont know much about other lakes. For the most part I wade the shoreline. Is that an option? I have a small 12 ft. boat that I have been attempting to register, but have had problems because I cannot locate my most recent registration which is from NJ. Are motors allowed? Gas or electric? Have both. Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kez P.S. Landed a 3.4 LM from TURNER 3 weeks ago, largest I've got to date this season. Weighed on a Stren digital scale, probably not the most accurate, but at least an idea! Caught on 4inch motor oil salted worm, Texas rigged, it hit on the drop within seconds of hitting the water. i don't post much since it appears no one else in R.I. does. Good Luck keep fishing turner From: brian (64.12.106.44), Rhode island hello. If you live in EP like i do, keep on fishing Turner. this year I've caught 10 over 3 and 3 over 4 in turner. Some people think there is nothing alive there, but man there are some HUGE fish in there. I called DEM after they did their shocking in the spring and asked them what they found. They said the waterfall side had tons of fish, LMbass up to 4.8. They were only shocking the shore and the process only shocked 3 feet in all directions. The other side a lot less LMBass, but were a lot bigger in comparison. The biggest being 7.8 They found lots of 5 and 6's. Turners great! excuse my ramble, but It's a great place to fish.
