Dallenbach From: shaun (205.188.196.31), New jersey
Hey Charlie, I was at Dallenbach yesterday from 3-5pm. I caught 2 bass, 11" and 14" both near the dock in the cove on the left shore on a smoke colored finesse worm.I also lost a big pickerel next to the boat. I hooked into all the fish right at dusk. BTW, nice fish!

Shaun

The ramp is at the end of crystal springs water park and hidden in the back.If you face the entrance of water park it will be on your right behind the dumpster. It has a floating dock.Depending on water level you can get a bass boat in but we havent had much rain so I am sure it is really low and it will limit the area you can fish. There is a small connecting spot between the 2 sides of the lake. And I think it is very low now and next to impossible to get across to the other side.Hope this helps.

Hey, Shaun, congratulations. You seem to do pretty well worming this time of year, (these plus that one at DMP) and conventional wisdom is that the water is too cold. Just goes to show that you have to use what you're confident with.

Tom, Bill M gave good directions to the ramp. The ramp is at the end of a cove. The water in this cove was only 12 inches or so and required that I lift the trolling motor part way out of the water. I fish from a 14 foot jon boat and had no problem getting out and back. Bill M is also right about the connecting spot to the other side of the lake; it was only a few inches deep. Still, fishing was good in the part of the lake I could reach. Charlie

Thanks for directions From: Tom (165.89.84.249), New jersey
Thanks for the directions guys. Tell me. I fished theri back in the mid 1970's from the bank. Early spring there was a good crappie bite. Does it still exist? We used to park by the library?? Thanks, Tom

I to fished it since the mid-70's.In the mid-80's the PBA stocked trout for a tournament and I think it lasted about 5 to 6 years(I mean every year for a 1 day fishing derby) Good intentions but it was a disaster for the pond.I would see fools take some nice pickeral and slit its neck and say they eat the trout and just toss them to the side of the bank.It is a small pond(lake) and it put a hurtin on the pickeral population.Needless to say bass were being taken for food to the point of never seeing them cruise the shorline they way they used to.And if you fished it back then I am sure you remember the BIG BASS SCHOOL THAT PROWLED THERE.Yes the crappie bite is great at night still. And of course people dont fish it as hard as they used to and it is coming back strong.Great weedbeds to fish with topwaters at night.Hope this helps.
