Chad, Next time your on limestone, try a Chart. and white buzzbait in Big creek on the left side. There is also some good docks w/ brush under them. If its in the summer Late may through August you should do well, 12-19 lbs. Throw that buzzbait all day long in there and they will bite it all day long. Sunny cloudy windy rainy, I've always done well in there.
Thanks for the info From: Chad Heitman (12.104.183.128), Texas
I did throw a chart/white buzzbait quite a bit but never got a roll on it. But, I will keep that in mind next time I'm on Limestone which I believe we are gonna be back there same time next year.

I was on Limestone today trying to pattern some fish.we checked all the old spots for whites & caught a few dinks the weather has been crazy! At 10a.m.we picked up some minnows & headed for a protected area.we hopped from tree to tree & ended up with about 40 keeper crappie. The biggest was 14 inches long. They all were females & had eggs, they were in 15ft.of water. The highlines will be good if you can find a spot!Come see us.....ginsel guide service........... 903-529-3107........www.gguideserv.com
Sounds like From: Fishing Frenzie (64.12.105.154), Texas
We were fishing the same tourney on limestone. Two limits weighed on saturday, I got the big fish for the tourney 5.52lbs. I finished 3rd. First had 13.5 second had 12.5 and I was third at 1/2 ounce under second. Never could catch the solid 2.5 to 3.0lbers to walk away with it. We did consistently catch alot of small ones though. Do these fish have the LMBV disease? Over half the fish we caught looked horrible and not from spawning. Many club members said the same thing. Fishing Frenzie
