Did you put in at the bridge below the Indian mounds, and if so how did you manage to get over all the shoals if they were not generating? That one shoals above Pumkinvine must drop 2'. thanks Etowah put in From: Lionheart (192.31.106.35), Georgia We put in real close to the dam, probably 500 yards. There is a dirt road at the back of a real nice neighborhood. This dirt road snakes around a large crop field and terminates at the Launch point. This place is only for canoes and small coleman like boats since you have to lower it down a 10-15 ft bank. However, we have put in by the bridge and just dragged the small boat through the shoals and rapids. It was held by JO"Jo" Store in Euharlle.And if so what the weight of the winning fish was. We fished the river on Saturday but did not enter the tourment. We put in at 411 Bridge and fished to the bypass. Long Float but caught about 20 stripers. Weighing Between 8 and 12Lbs. Caught them on Bucktails with trailers |
