big jim's didn't do very well for many reasons( never open, over priced, poor selection on everything but worms, no help) and bass pro coming to atl didn't help since thats where he got most of his stuff anyway. now gables sporting goods out of douglasville is building a new place in newnan off the bypass. between them and walmart it sure would be tough to make a profit in senoia in my opinion, but opinions are like a___oles everybodies got one. fayette outdoors was a great store but harry couldn't compete with walmart. also remember the 4 most important things in business, location, location, location, and cashflow. not trying to discourage you as i would love another choice of where to buy tackle, but i think you're going to have to offer something that the others don't but not be radical about the selection ( like HELICOPTER LURES "R" US or the "FLYING LURE STORE" )just my thoughts and they come with a 100% money back warranty with sales receipt. bait shop From: Alan Widener (209.16.255.19), Georgia I live in Peachtree City and there is no bait shops anywhere near my area. The closest one I know of is in Fairburn. I'd be a customer in Senoia. I buy all of my lures from Wal-mart even my live worms. But opening a bait shop in Senoia may not make enough money. Really there isn't many places to fish in that area and I,m not sure if people drive by there to go fishing. I go through there when I fish the Flint river but that is it. Usually I drive through Newnan to get to West Point Lake and use the bait shops there for minnows. And doesn't Senoia have a bait shop in one of the stores there. Do you know if they sell crickets or anywhere else that does besides the place in Fairburn? Alan Widener |
