Hi Eric, this is Andrew (the white Xpress guy). Was the ramp a mud-fest? I was thinking about going out there this weekend. I like to work the weedbeds there with floating worms and Kalin grubs, but sometimes the fish just aren't there. Did you try the weeds at all? Today looks pretty dang nice to go stick 'em (except for the "wicked high preshah" that's settling in). See ya! Massasecum From: eric (199.125.99.84), New hampshire Ramp was fine (sandy as usual). I got my fish shallower than usual. I generally do pretty well around the deepest visible boulders. On this occasion, I had the best action in 5'. The top spots include one where the wind (the main factor for the day) was sweeping the water around a hard point, and in an eddy area next to the start of a pad bed. I spinnerbaited the pads, but didn't get hit there. This afternoon sun we're getting should be important on calm days (might put them under cover for ya). Hope you go! |
