fishing while on sonar From: rash (213.42.1.173), Other
as my comment might already suggest to you , try sonar specially when its after dark and water levels are either murky wet or flooded . try to get the most out of daylight and dont try and troll with more than three at a time . dip your bait in fish oil which is about a week old before trolling or use live bait if you have a fridge on board which i know you dont ! but any way - keep clear of sea weed and rocks also try and go around marshes when the tide is either comming in or going out . also try a new lighter less smokey engine oil in your tanks . see ya . /- i hope this was not too much regards rash .//

Don't feel to bad about catching several fish , at least you were able to fish, I blew my engine on Sunday during a tournament and there is no hope for any repair what so ever for this engine. My mechanic gave me the bad news on Monday. Oh well it could have been worst.

Jim and jt......Last Friday I met you at the gas station in Clewiston and you told me about your fishing reports and the 42 you caught in Bay Bottom. I went the next day (day before the full moon) and only caught about half that and most were dinks. Thanks for the tip though. I only saw a few other fish caught even though Bay Bottom looked like a parking lot (most were on the SE side). Has the water aroung east wall and ritta cleaned up yet? Anyone know if specs are being caught around Clewiston yet?
