Where abouts? From: Manny S (66.51.213.18), California
What areas did you fish? I'm headed out on April 30 and just wanted to get a headstart.

Thanks!

Info please From: badmouth (24.30.168.172), California
Hi, is this lake hard to get on to? I heard no private boats and a waiting list. I would love to fish it. If you do have to rent a boat, do they come equipted with a trolling motor or do you have to bring your own? I also heard about a waiting list. WHAT'S THE SCOOP MY FRIEND?
what a day! From: weapons of bass destruction (64.167.15.123), California
Was there on wed 16th (opening day), got 115LMB 1SMB on buzzers/topwater in morn and eve, pig/jig killed em all day, DD cranks, hard/soft jerks, senko's, drop shot when it got "slow" or when I had to cool down the jig rod. I fish there a few times a year...but this was INSANE! Every fish was on the chew...ave size 3lbs but got a good 25 that were 4 to 6.5lbs. My girlfriend "only" got 55...jig hooksets hurt her wrist too much with spinning gear. Was worth the 1 1/2 hours of re-dial it took to get the tix(only one trip per call this year...damn!) All colors, all presentations, all depths, all over the lake...just one of those miracle days.
Barrett Lake, CA From: Corn (209.179.226.5), California
4/19/2003 - 3 anglers, (+/-)200 fish, too many to keep an accurate count, but no lie, at least 50-60 per,(we were trying to catch as many as we could on a single worm, some as many as 5 fish per worm, and we were going through bags and bags of plastics. Robo-worms, Zipper-worms,Reapers, even Bass Pro Shops 3001 piece grab-bag worms. Drop-shot, Texas-rig, Carolina-rig, I couldn't say that it really made much difference. All quality fish, 2-3# a couple that maybe pushed 5#.

I've been fishing this lake for about 8 years now, always with much success, but never this good.......

5/3/2003 - 3 anglers, 85 fish

We fished all day and it rained all day. I knew we were still in for a good day when I caught my first fish off the boat dock before my brother had even parked the truck. Definitely slower than opening Saturday, but I'm sure the weather didn't help. Same deal, plastic worms, reapers, senkos............

We drive for 3-1/2 hours one-way to fish this lake and its always(ALWAYS) worth it.

If you ever get a chance to fish this lake, do it.

Awsome!!! From: Hunter (66.91.239.87), California
