Fishhead - Thanks for the reports. You make me envious fishing all the time. Oh - to be retired right now:-) Been a couple months since fishing there. Have had tourneys elsewhere and work has had me busy the rest of the time. Has the main lake turned on yet and have you been up the hooch lately?? Keep the reports coming - I and many others read everything you put into text here. You brighten days for those of us who can't make it out regularly - at least not yet:-)

Keep'em comin - and weigh'em too - you ain't doing any damage to them fish - they're too damn bull headed to care about being out of water for one extra minute to put the scale to'em.

I'm glad you're getting something from my ramblings here. I suspect the main lake should be getting on a good summer bite with the water clearing and the hydrilla thickening up. I have been wanting to try out the morning buzz bite out front of Wingates and do some worming down toward the dam for awhile now but it's tough to move when I've been limiting nearly everyday on the river plus it saves me some driving, although I'm not so sure about that because I've been making up the diference by going every dern day. LOL! Haven't been up the hooch lately either. Hey, let me know when you're coming back maybe I'll be on some down on the lake by then. btw: I have a red and white Bullet now, it's a lot easier to spot at a distance than the old blue/white Stratos.....so I've been told.

Just thought I would give you the "head"s up. In Columbus Georgia, we are currently under a flash flood warning. One of our small lakes on the Chattahoochee has over 7 gates open... the recent toad stranglers to the north of us has the flint and hooch really flowing.

Be careful out there, BobR

Thanks BobR From: Oldfishhead (162.39.199.81), Georgia
That just might keep the bite going down here on the Flint and get it started over on the Hooch. I've seen some good strings brought in off the Hooch when the waters running good. I was planning to try the main lake in the morning. Now I'm not sure. Might hit the river again. Sorry to here it's a flood up your way though.
