Barrett lake From: Tony horvat (63.170.155.60), California
I fish (past tense)Oso and recently fished Barrett for the first time.Barrett is a great fishery and I was sad to read the prior comments on the bait fish population as I know what a devestating effect one yr. of bad conditions(water level etc.)had on Oso.Is there some kind of fund that could be started to repopulate Barrett with blue gill or some species of baitfish this late in the yr.Maybe you fisherman from ther San Diego area would have the contact infornation.With the state of Californias budget I 'm sure Barrett Lake is not high on the priority list.I will be at the lake next Sat.(26th)if anyone has any ideas.I will be in line in a white Expedition .(I also have white hair)I don't have a reservation so if anyone has room on their reservation let me know.Hope we can figure some way to help ''save'' the lake.
