Castaic lagoon From: George Adkins (4.46.197.77), California
Do you know if the dock at the lagoon boat ramp has been fixed yet? It is tough to launch alone without a dock and a rocky shore. I have been on the upper lake and have been doing real well using a Super Fluke in morning. Most of the hits have been after the bait gets out to 8-10 ft. depth. I wil be on the upper lake this Sat. with my good fishing buddy, the legond in his own mind, Steve BIG-BAIT Byrd. This is always an adventure to say the least. Answer to dock From: 918Basser, California I was out on the lower about two weeks ago and they said it would be usable in a couple of days. I haven't been there since because of the blustoning and boat traffic from CSUN. The upper lake is really nice in the morning and the shade is nice until about 9AM. Good luck on your next trip out. I really will miss this trip. The Fluk Fishing this time of year can really be great around the grass. Hope everyone is catching lots of fish and save some for me. I saved your parking spot and bought you a burger ticket. Will you guys be fishing next year? If so let me know. Steve I went with Don to Mexico. Fishing was not that great. I did catch a few big ones but the water was low and made it tough. We did manage to catch a 1 to 1 1/2 lbs, once in a while a big one would come up a eat my 1 pounder. NOW thats a big fish! |
