i was in a tournament at jordan last march...my partner didnt show up so i fished alone, fishin the rip rap at ebenezor bridge, hooked a 10.08lb bass on a firetiger speedtrap, needless to say i had forgotten to get the net out that morning, and when the fish jumped, i knew there was no way to get the net out of the box and still maintain pressure on that fish. i just followed her with the trolling motor and let her tire out and layed down and scooped her in with my arm. after i weighed her on my digital scales, i put her in the box and just sit there in shock, what a wonderful day, iwill NEVER forget it. won that day, took her picture and let her swim away to amaze someone else someday! |
