Water Clarity: 0 Myself and my partner Phil fished the Future Pro Tour on the 20th at Lake Berryessa. It is the first stop on the tournament trail and we are very pleased on how we did. We are actually part of the tournament staff so we were able to see and hear everything coming to the scales...We had a bag that weighed 13.01 for 5 fish and we were leading the event for 3/4ths of the event until a team brought in a solid bag that weight 15+. Did i mention that there were 143 boats in this amateur tournament? Not a bad finish second place for the first tournament of the year. Next up for us is Clear Lake and it will be a blast bed fishing April 24th. Well all in all we had a great tournament we used yamamoto grubs and Jp Jigs red hook Bass getters...For all those who may be interested in the red hook bass getters go to www.ALSWORM.COM and click JP Jigs link on left of page...they are great!! the red hook really makes a difference he also does dropshot weights and other great looking stuff. Go see what you have been missing in the red hooks...out west it is great...
