Water Clarity: 6 inches April 3:
Fished out of Luces Bayou. Landed two(2) LM Bass 3lb-8oz & 3lb-12oz. One was caught at 12:30 PM on a 1/4 oz Crome Green Rattle-Trap and the other about 3:30 PM on a Strike King "wild thing" plastic creature bait. Lost three(3) other bass of about the same size on the trap. A few short fish were caught too.
Wife was fishing for crappe. Although she did catch a 1lb-3oz crappee on a white bettle spin, she did not have much more to brag about.
April 5:
Fished again out of Luces:
Lost a "BIG" largemouth at the boat. It was hooked on same Green Chrome Trap as Saturdays fish. We were just playing the fish to tire it out so we could hand lip it. Forgot net. It was in truck. LOL. Only decent bite all day. But we did catch about 12 short bass between 1:30 PM & 5:00 PM.
Going to give it a try again Wednesday, April 7th. Weather permitting.
