Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Fished hard from 9:30 to 5:30 today hoping to find some fish staging. Started at Crumps Bottom working the mid river current breaks, and shore line current breaks. Weather was partly sunny high 50's, with little wind until later in the evening. Partner and I fished a bunch of different tubes, jig n' pigs, hula grubs, and stickbaits with no luck at all. Went down around the Bertha campground and partner caught a 20" carp, but that was the only fish of the day. Went back up to Crumps Bottom and still came up goose eggs.
Water level went up at least a foot between the put in and take out time, and water clarity seemed to go downhill as the day went on. I had a great time fishing, just wish the fish would have cooperated.
