  Subject: Connecticut river, Connecticut

Submitted by bassnman77 (ip 68.63.163.95)

Date Fished: 4/17/2004
Water Temperature: 50
Water Clarity: 1 foot

Spent a few hours in the evening near the entrance of the Salmon River. Water level was high, even at low tide. The weeds have not grown in yet so the fishing was slow. Fished spinnerbaits for a few hours and picked up three largemouth bass between 1.5 and 2 pounds. All in all, a nice day on the river with the nice weather. Beware-if you go up the river, be careful at the bend as all of the channel markers have been removed. Good fishing!
