Subject: Nolin Lake, Kentucky

Water Clarity: 0 We recently fished a tournament on Nolin Lake, and I'm gonna spill my guts on where we caught 'em and what on. I wish more fisherman would do this, because sometimes we fish on strange lakes and have no idea where to start. Anyway the majority of our keeper fish came from an area you can find on the map called Rock Creek. When you first enter Rock creek, but before you get to Iberia bridge and boat ramp, there is a big mud flat on the left, you can't miss it, and it does hold fish this time of year. We fished all over the lake, and each time we went by the big flat we fished it. We caught one fish over 6 1/2 pounds while prefishing and several more keepers. The big fish was caught on a regular shad colored shad rap. All of the others were caught on silver and black rattle traps. The water is moving on up pretty fast, so it won't be long till they move on up past the bridge and start the spawn. I would greatly appreciate any info on Green river lake. I can't seem to find anyone that knows anything about it, and it's too far to for me to prefish. If anyone out there wants to swap notes, feel free to e-mail me at bottomknockerr@wmconnect.com.
