Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Picked up my neighbor this afternoon at 3:00 pm and put in at Little river.Back at dock at 6:30....went to north of Victoria Landing and fished a cove and rocks....Wind was too much and no bites. Left and went to cove across from Gault Ferry....again wind too much and again NADA....left after a short while and went to the S curves down by the big house on hill....fished the point there off main lake. was throwing flukes (white) also jig....again no luck. got tired, so I picked up my crank bait, bandit 300, tenn. shad color. and on the third cast about mid way back in the cove nailed a spot. dink...had another hit off the crank bait but lost the fish. stayed with the crank bait till came out to the main lake point....picked up white fluke and WHAM nailed and boated a nice spot...then on the next three cast put another 3 in the boat ... all spots...all about 1 1/2 lbs to 2 lbs.... after the 4th fish no bites...so picked up the crank bait again and back in pocked nailed a nice 2plus lb large mouth. and then lost another one. partner then throwing a fluke pulled in 3 spots and all were keepeer except one....kept throwing the fluke and crank bait....got another one on point with fluke. bite slowed down then...we came on back to the house. Sooooo put 10 in the boat and used a fluke (white) and crank bait to catch them all....for the short time on the lake, felt had a great day....took everybody advise after my day missing them on the fluke. much better time of it today....will try agin tomorrow....good fishing to all....
