Date Fished: 4/24/2004
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

I fished some coves in the Red Top area early this morning. Another great day. I caught three nice fish in the two hours I had to work with. It was hard to keep the smaller fish off my small fly but I like the option of catching large Bream. The key right now seems to be a slow falling mini streamer and lots of stealth. I noticed that I was spooking fish when I threw a large popper. I think they have been conditioned by the fishing pressure. I also think that I have an advantage with my flyrod in the shallow clear water.

Good luck to all
