Submitted by Micropterus Salmoides (ip 40.0.40.10)

Date Fished: 6/14/2004
Water Temperature: 67
Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Fished the Turtle-Flambeau on Monday, looked long and hard and finally found smallmouths around protected islands on the east sides of them. Look for rocky points with cedar tree laydowns around.

If you find rock bass, you will find smallmouth. Caught tons of rock bass and a few walleye. Lots of small pike in the same areas. You will catch more pike than anything else, but the smallmouths are footballs in here.
