Fished BFL on Saturday and let me tell you this is got to be the most brutal lake on the BFL tour this year. Bite was tough for the four days I fished. Had a decent bite in practice fishing tubes (black neon) texas rigged in 1-4 feet of water. Few fish on Crankbaits right off the bank, but managed nothing on tourney day. Main reason for posting this is, Sometime between 1 am and 4am on Friday some crooks evidently figured they needed to break in to the majority of the anglers boats. I lost almost everything I own. Rod lockers and storage boxes were stripped of everything inside. I lost all my rods and reels and the majority of my tackle. Strangely enough they didnt touch trolling motors, electronics ,or anything else that would have been of more value. I was taken for approx. $2500 worth of tackle. If anyone catches wind of anything please post or e-mail me at Wildman13JC@msn.com. I would also like to thank all the anglers of the BFL who came together and loaned us rods and tackle so we were able to fish the event. Hats off to you you guys proved what the sport of competetive fishing is all about. The folks down at Bucksaw Resort also are about the greatest bunch of people as well , and if you are ever in the Truman area , they have a great place to stay. Any ways 17 lbs took the money and 12 took 2nd rst of anglers had 1 or 2 fish. Top 2 were flippin jigs in heavy shallow cover. If u have any info please speak up! Keepin' it "jiggy" Joe Costi (aka "Wildman")
