Date Fished: 7/18/2004 Fished a club tournament yesterday and today. Saturday's winner had 11 pounds and the same guy had 10.2 to win this morning as well. For me, I finished 4th and 3rd respectively each day. I caught mainly smallmouth, but did have a nice LM today. Most of the SM were caught on drop-offs where the water went from 2 feet down to 10-15 feet. In the early morning topwater worked well. Then at mid-morning, I did well with a spinnerbait. When the sun was bright, I switched to a mojo rig and split shot rig, both using a 4 inch green pumpkin single tail grub. This is a great little lake with a lot of potential and variety of structure to fish. There's more to tell, but I'll keep that to myself. Oh, and if you fish here, get used to the aggressive pike. My biggest pike was at least 30 inches.
