Water Clarity: 1 foot I fished about 5 hrs both yesterday and today. With not much to show for my efforts. Grand has me totally confused right now. The fishing was just great 2 weeks ago and it has gone down hill since. But then again I can't remember ever needing a jacket in the middle of Aug. With the constant cold fronts moving through and the unseasonably cool summer I'm sure it has some affect on the fish. I didn't catch over a dozen fish all weekend, only one being a decent fish of about 3 lbs. I fished both deep and shallow with jigs to catch the few I did. Seems I tried about everything I could think of and nothing was working. There are huge schools of shad everywhere in the 2 inch size, so I'm sure the fish are doing well.
