Water Clarity: 2-3 feet Fished three days this week (all morning trips). This lake turning sure scatters them stripes! Mostly downlined early in the week with no success. Found two good groups of fish on Thur, and both turned out to be spots. Looked like stripers on the graph, some spaghetti, and groups of three/four swimming. They did eat live BB's on downlines-largest was approx 3 1/2 lbs. Will switch to pulling planers and freelines next time out unless I see them deep.
Finally switched to chasing spots today with help from my daughter. Caught fish on Sammy's and dropshot rig. Topwater fish seemed random, and dropshots came on good bottom structure from 10-25 feet. No big one's, but my daughter had fun crankin' on them!
We did manage to catch a nice Triton bass boat as it swam buy. We threw her back to her owner though :-) Nice ride man! Not sure where we could put the bait tank though.....
