Water Clarity: 0 Although this report is basically on Lake Casitas it is the culmination of my own, personal test of a relatively new bait enhancer, Megastrike. At a recent 2 day club tournament I posted a winning weight of 53.9lbs. 30.3lbs, 5 fish limit the first day with my biggest fish weighing only 6.9lbs and 23.6lbs, 5 fish limit for a noon weigh-in the 2nd day with a 6.4lb kicker. All the fish came on Roboworm 6" oxblood-red flake worms, shaking on the steep walls. It was an all day bite with the better fishing occurring after the wind came up. My non-boater was fishing right beside using the exact same set-up with two differences. I was using Megastrike, he was using something else. The other difference, he had 1 2.2lb fish the first day and none the second day. This was my 6th consecutive win and my 8th out of 9 (lost the trolling motor on that one and did'nt bring my back-up along). I've weighed in not just a limit but the winning limit every time out this year. It has been the same for every tournament, I'm using Megastrike, they're using something and everything else. Not just one manufacture's product but several different products. You can pretty much name it and Megastrike and me outfished it. This happened at the Delta, Castaic, El Cap, San Vincente, twice at Casitas, (earlier in the year I weighed 46.9lbs for 2 days,dropshotting 4" Roboworms and shaking Roboworm Zipper Grubs off points)and at Success (a 24lb limit there at the end of July, Zoom lizards, Carolina rigged, in creek channels, loaded with Megastrike). Out of good sportsmanship and feeling kind of morally obligated, I had to let the secret out, Megastrike.
