Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater

Got to the lake around 6:00 am. Thought I would try the swimbaits all day but that bite, for me, just wasn't as well as last week. I had one nail it at the boat and come off. Around 10:00 am I started throwing a suspending crankbaits and caught 6 fish from 3 to 5 lbs. My 5 best weighed about 14.5 lbs. In all it was a good day. I did try drop shotting with little success. Alls I could manage was little rats no keepers.
