Water Clarity: 4 feet or greater Fished the Clemson area of the lake. Fished from 7am till 5pm and boated 8 fish. Only had 5 keepers and total weight around 7 or 8 pounds. Caught the first 4 as soon as we hit the water. Schooling activity within sight of Clemson stadium. All 4 were caught on a spinnerbait while waiting for the fish to school in 20 foot of water. Didn't get hit again until after noon. Found fish on the locator but could not get bit. Tried c-rig, doodle, spoon, and drop shot without any success. After lunch, the fish (or we) moved shallow. Caught our last 4 fish (and had one break off at the boat) on the Horny Toad in less than 3 feet of water.
