WHAT A DAY!Decided to try a technique i have not refined (SPOONS)! After spotting enormous amounts of bait....It was a MUST! I have some great photos of my color sonar if anyone is interested just email me! Also have some pics of the fish from the day!

To the specifics...the location was the mouth of any major creek. The bait was concentrated in the 25' range. We took over 40 fish in less than 2 hrs and really were not fishing hard. There was a mixture of Spots, Hybrids, Stripers, and Large Heads. The largest Stripe was 4.16, followed by a SPOT at 3.16, and then the 35' deep Large head at 2.96. Total # of fish 43, Total # of Spots...26.

Now some good stuff...the Spots were not under the shad. They had positioned themselves along the bottom at the end of the Secondary points. These points in the creek were long, but the fish were stacked at the end. Drop the spoon, let it hit bottom and just bump it up and down gently! When the line goes slack...YELL OUT "FISH ON!"
