Date Fished: 12/8/2004 went out on Hickory yesterday from about 10 am till 2:30 pm. Was planning on going someplace till I cleared the no wake zone at Bull creek and made a quick change in plans. took a look around to see if I could at least make the other side of the channel without being beat to death by floating debris. Finally snuck through and fished the bank down stream for about 2 miles. Now for the good part, I caught 5 fish and missed a few others, boated one keeper about 3.5 pounds and 4 dinks about 12 inches. All of them were real light colored because of the lack of sunlight due to dirty water conditions these past few weeks. Caught all of my fish in 6 inches to 1 foot of water which was fairly clear near the bank. Caught 3 of them flipping that new Baby Cat bait from NetBaits and caught 2 others including the biggest on Paca Craws from NetBaits. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!
